I wrote the screenplay for my Short "A Moment in Time" (14:45) because I believe that we are all connected, no matter age, race, physical proximity, or time. In the film I explore that connectivity through the two main characters - women in different time periods - each helping the other to get past hurt and find potential happiness. With the world in its current state, I wanted to put out a positive message. The wonderful cast and crew helped to bring this to light.
I directed it in the late Fall of 2018 and, so far, the film has been accepted to the Big Apple Film Festival in NYC, and the Southeastern International Film Festival in Nashville, TN.
"Lost and Broken" (2017) is a Short film (17:39) that explores loss and love, generally, but more specifically, one woman's unfailing belief that she will find her son who disappeared sixteen years ago. After a chance encounter, the main character Helen meets someone who could change everything.
